"i am a philosophy girl, but i just started using hope in a bottle and i love it! i've been a big fan of purity and the microdelivery for over a year now, but was still getting the occasional breakout and felt like i should be doing more for my skin. so i decided to give hope in a bottle a try, and wow! it started to work almost immediately--healing my breakouts and getting rid of those pesky "bumps" under the skin on my forehead and chin. within a few days, my skin was dramatically softer and smoother. now, there are no bumps and my skin stays looking great all day! what impressed me most was how well it moisturized my skin without making it oily--in fact, it stays matte all day. i don't even need makeup anymore. amazing!!"

"I have been dealing with oily skin & breakouts since i was in 6th grade. this is the best moisturizer out there for oily skin. i have used other things over the years, but they have been discontinued , so i decided to try this. i had used hope in a jar for a night cream- it was too much for the daytime for me. this offers everything that i need. the smell takes awhile to get used to, but it does go away quickly. i don't think that my skin has looked so good for so long! thanks!"

"I purchased "hope in a bottle" looking forward to having smooth, moisturized skin with fewer blemishes. I have used this product for several months now and have not seen the expected results. i do not care for the scent, but I have merely accepted it. upon application, my skin becomes red and irritated. the product also does not sufficiently replenish moisture."

"i NORMALLY DO NOT WRITE REVIEWS, MAINLY BECAUSE I NEVER REALLY FOUND A PRODUCT THAT WORKS. wELL THAT ALL CHANGED WHEN I STARTED USING PHILOSOPHY. I HAVE OILY/CONGESTED SKIN WITH OCCASIONAL BREAKOUTS SINCE USING HOPE IN A BOTTLE MY SKIN HAS NEVER LOOKED BETTER. "my skin has always fluctuated between being too dry from overusing acne treatments or too oily and congested from moisturizing to combat the dryness. i have tried several oil-free moisturizers and have tried the method of moisturizing in the morning and using an acne treatment at night, but to no avail. if i could manage to keep the pimples at bay, blackheads were always present. but now, since using hope in a bottle, i am happy to say that my skin is soft, smooth, and blemish-free! i didn't think it was possible, but philosophy has proven me wrong!
if i forget to use hope in a bottle a few nights or mornings in a row, i notice those pesky blackheads making their way back onto my nose. as soon as i get my act together again and use hope in a bottle, my skin is clear again. i use this in the morning with the vitamin c booster powder and i couldn't be happier. a must for women (or men!) with combination or acne-prone skin. if my mom would have bought this for me when i was 13, i would have cried way fewer tears over my "horrible, pimply skin.""

my perfect philosophy moisturizer!

"i started using this product a couple of weeks ago. i had been using hope in a jar, which i liked, but i didn't feel like it was giving me the best protection against breakouts or helping them to heal faster. within the last couple of weeks, my skin has improved dramatically! i use the microdelivery wash, hope in a bottle, and eye hope in the morning, and purity, hope in a bottle, and eye hope at night. i also do the microdelivery peel a couple of times a week. this routine has made an amazing difference. if you have oily or breakout-prone skin and are just getting started with philosophy, i highly recommend this product. i was afraid it would be drying, but it's not. it also gives my skin a nice matte finish. the texture is comparable to many other moisturizers i have used...much thicker than hope in a jar without being greasy. the smell is a little medicinal but certainly not bad. a little goes a long way, so this bottle will last months."

"i'M A NEW PHILOSOPHY CONVERT. i USED THE WHEN HOPE IS NOT ENOUGH MOUSTURIZER, BUT i FOUND THAT i BROKE OUT A LOT. i SWITCHED TO HOPE IN A BOTTLE AND VIOLA! bEAUTIFUL SKIN. tHIS PRODUCT DOES IT ALL: Smooths, reduces pore size, gets rid of fine lines around my mouth, AND controls breakouts.

"I've tried so many drugstore moisturizers - they all leave my face greasy. This moisturizer is the best i've tried! the frist time I used it I put a dime-sized drop on my face before bed, and when I woke up my face felt smoother and softer. I have used it twice a day since then and it keeps on delivering! other topical acne products can be irritating, but this has the right amount of moisture to keep my skin from getting angry. i love it! (now if only they made it with spf...)"

"I really love this product during the summer months when the weather is hot and humid. you get enough moisturization without greasiness. i also love the fact that this helps my pores to look smaller. please make travel size product of hoe in a bottle. i really like the 1 oz size i got from hope chest kit i purchased from qvc awhile ago."

"i have clear skin, but it's oily. Using this as my day cream followed by serum really helps. It dries quickly...the smell is all right...but it is not as thick and pastey feeling as hope in a jar. The product works!"

"i don't have acne problems but i do have very oily skin and large pores. this product helped to reduce the appearance of my pores and control the oil in my skin with out drying me out. the smell is not the best but it is gone in minutes and well worth the outcome. the only thing i would change is add some spf to it. I use purity made simple, eye hope, hope in a tube (for my lip area), and the oxygen peel for my skincare regimen. all are wonderful products."

"I ordered hope in a bottle in the oil man set (i love "the present!") and i am very happy with it. I originally ordered it because my boyfriend hated the smell of the night cream i used to use. i wasnt sure if i would like this as well but i love it. it has kept my skin clear without drying it out! i only use it at night, and i no longer wake up with super dry skin. the smell is not wonderful but it is definately milder than most acne creams. I would love to see this in a larger size!!"

"with the birth of my second child came cystic acne ( a little hormonal gift ). i had been using hiaj am and pm. i switched to hiab in the am and hiaj in the pm, and the cystic acne is almost gone. it helps with the acne, but unlike other acne lines, it doesn't make my skin so dry that it itches later. this is my new moisturizer of choice for daytime use."

"i've never been one for using moisturizer, i always had problems with them being to heavy, making my skin to oily, or making my face break out, but i absolutely love this one! it does a great job keeping my skin soft and moisturized without being heavy and helps exfoliate my skin. this is the first moisturizer i have ever been able to use twice daily. the smell might take a little getting used to but the effect is well worth it (plus the smell dissipates within moments of putting it on)"

"i just started to use this today after i washed my face using the microderm exfoliating wash, i used it as a spot treatment as i have occasional pimples and blackheads it works well drying out the blemishes in one day, i think this will be a product i will use daily i hope i found something that finally works i grew tired of spending money on products that dont work. im getting married in july and i really hope i have clear skin by then"
