Great for summer

"I have normal to oily skin and normally use Hope in a jar during the day. During hot summer days, however, I wanted something a little lighter that would help fight acne. That's why I picked up hope in a bottle. It's everything I'd hoped it would be. It has even improved the texture of my skin."

Does anyone else notice the smell?

"I bought this moisturizer and the store did not have a tester so I was unable to smell it. I got it home and it stinks!! It smells like a wet dog! I use hope in a jar and love it. People complain about the smell of that and I dont smell it. I think hope in a jar smells like lavender and reminds me of summer. This stuff reminds me I need to give my dog a bath. It also burns when I first put it on my skin. The burning goes away but I really wish I could get my money back."

just switched to this and i love it!

"i recently switched from hope in a jar to hope in a bottle and i think it works much better on my combo/oily skin. the hope in a bottle is lighter weight and really absorbs into the skin quickly, leaving no residue at all. it also feels really good on the skin and is not too drying like a lot of the products i've tried with salicylic acid."

"i have combo/oily skin, blackheads on my nose and chin and occasional breakouts. i also have sensitive skin that has been terrible to work with when it comes to clearing things up because any product that works gives me a rash...does that still mean it works? I don't know. what i do know is that this product has made my skin feel soft, my skin is clearing up and i don't have a rash! i'm one happy customer, philosophy! keep it up!"

perfect for day use

"I started out using hiaj both day and night and my skin looked fabulous. after a few months my hormones started changing and my skin was getting oily and bumpy during the day. after reading reviews on hope in a bottle, i switched to using hope in a bottle during the day and hope in a jar a night. my skin is now nearly perfect and i rarely use makeup anymore. hope in a bottle has taken away all my forehead bumps (congestion) and i no longer have an oily face. it lasts through out the entire day! strangers come up to me and tell me how beautiful my skin is - this has never happened to me in my life! Oh, and yes it does have a slight smell but it goes away right after you apply it."

Finally something that works

"I have tried many products over the past few years. as i entered my thirties My skin became more congested, irritated, and i had clogged pores all over my face. i bought the purity cleanser, hope in a bottle, and save me. Within two weeks my skin looked 100% better, and has continued to improve since. During the winter I had to couple hope in a bottle with hope in a jar because the heat dries my face out and i needed additional moisture- but i can't say enough how impressed i was with these products and i tell everyone i know."

"I STARTED USING THIS MOISTURIZER ONE MONTH AGO AND IS PERFECT FOR MY TYPE OF SKIN. i HAVE COMBINATION SKIN, LARGE PORES AND STRESS/HORMONAL INDUCED BLEMISHES. HOPE IN A TUBE LEAVES YOUR FACE SOFT AND SHINE FREE, PLUS IT HAS SALICYLIC ACID THAT HELPS CONTROLS BLEMISHES."

"i am another philosophy girl that has congested skin primarily in the T-zone. hope in a bottle combats my oiliness and keeps my monthly blemishes under control. in the summer, this is my primary moisturizer."

Great for large pores on my nose

"I use this only on my nose because i have very large pores. it smoothes out the skin and makes my makeup look flawless on my nose. i am continually surprised at the wide range of philosophy products that are helping to improve my skin."

"i use the hope in a bottle on my chin and nose mostly. i have trouble with breakouts on my chin and Hiab seems to make them go away much faster! my breakouts are hormonal, so it doesn't really keep them from happening, but i have noticed they don't stay around as long as before! the salicylic acid seems to work much better than benzoyl peroxide for me. it keeps my oil under control on my t-zone too! I have combo skin, so i use hiaj on other areas b/c the hiab can be too drying there. a little bit goes a long way for me, so i don't have to repurchase very often!"

"My skin tends to be combination in the summer. when warm weather comes, i switch from hope in a jar to this. it's the perfect amount of moisture without sending my skin over the edge."

"I had terrible adult acne, painful huge zits on my face, and this stuff cleared it right up very quickly!! I ran out and didnt use it for a couple weeks and I started getting pimples again, so I know that it is the secret agent to clear skin. Lots of people tell me that I look much younger than my age (36), so I think this stuff rocks!!! :)"

"i suffer from adult acne. i have been using hiab for several months and have seen a considerable difference in not only the severity of my pimples but the frequency as well. now i only get the occasional pimple as a result of my monthly cycle. i have also noticed that this doesn't dry or age my skin as many other acne related products had done. hiab is fabulous!"

"Purity and hope in a bottle--the 2 skin treatments that i cannot and should not do without!! !i've been using these 2 for almost 2 years and my skin has never been clearer, softer, or now because of the hope in a bottle virtually blemish-free!! i am committed to keeping a stash of this and re-order another bottle when i reach half way the current bottle. if you have oily,congested, and over-40 acne-prone skin this is the 'hope' you need."

"i'm not sure what it is, but something in all of these moisturizers irritates my skin. i really wanted to love this product because everyone else loves it and raves about it. it just didn't work for me. bummer!"

Best moisturizer for combo skin

"I know hope in a jar gets all the hype, but I think this is even better if you have combination skin. my skin is sensitive, but even at 50+ , i still get breakouts occaisionally. hope in a bottle gives my skin moisture without making it oily, and I very rarely break out any more. I will never be without this product - it is that good."

"this product works great for skin that is prone to acne. i get breakouts on my forehead and nose and after using the HIab the breakouts have greatly decreased. it also helps keep your t-zone less shiny during the day."

Best acne treatment around

"I have acne prone skin along with dark scaring when the acne goes away. It would always take a long time for the marks to disappear and this frustrated me. When I started using this product, I noticed right away that the marks were fading. I love my skin now and will never be without hiab!!!"
