"i have been searching for a non-greasy, non-scented sunscreen, and found it! it feels so light and doesn't feel greasy at all, no breakouts from it. i wait 5 min. after applying this to put on my make up. it has a slight lavender scent after i put it on, but it fades after just a couple minutes. love it because i can't stand smelling regular sunscreen on my face all day long. mostly, i love the fact that even though i am using sunscreen, it doesn't feel like it. the tube says it can be used on your face and body, so one more reason to love it!"

"having recently been diagnosed with skin cancer, i needed to find a suncreen for my face that felt light and moisturizing so that i would wear it every day. shelter is it!!! it is not at all heavy or oily. my face does not feel like i am wearing sunscreen yet I get excellent protection. thank you philosophy for a wonderful product."

"I am so fair and wear spf year round, everywhere i go.even to the office. so when i tried this i was floored at how wonderful this went on , and absorbed quickly.this is by far the best sun protection product i have ever slathered on my whitest of white skin.finally an spf i love, with a barely there feel.exception to your everyday spf. two (pale) thumbs way up"

"i have been wanting to try this sunscreen for a long time and finally bought it and i am so glad i did. i love it! it is light feeling on my face and i love the spf 30. i think it feels great on and goes on smoothly and doesn't flake or peel off at all. the light color blends in easily with my skin and i like having the slight color in the non tinted one because with white sunscreens, they are hard to blend in. smells good too. and at 4 oz, what a great value!!"

"i have to be very careful when i'm in the sun due to a history of melanoma. shelter protects my skin very well. i appreciate the larger size and this lasted me the entire summer. my only concern is that sometimes the moisturizer "balls" up on my face. i thought my skin was flaking at first until i realized it was the shelter."

"Keeps your face protected while giving excellent moisturization. i even wear it when I'm in the pool, at the beach, or on the boat, and it works great for blocking the harmful rays!"
