"i love this product. it's non irritating, removes make up and really cleans your skin. i have dry skin and although i can't go without cream on my skin this facial cleaner doesn't dry out my skin. i love it's clean pure scent. i have always used Avon and was irritated when i found out the last cleaner with exfoliating beads was discontinued so i came back to purity. i love the fact that you don't have to keep it away from the eye area which was frustrating because i would have to take off my eye make up with soap, then wash my face. it's so nice to multitask and do it all in one step."

"GROWING UP WITH ACNE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A STRUGGLE FOR ME. I'VE TRIED THE BIG NAME 'TV' ACNE PRODUCTS AND VARIOUS DRUG STORE BRANDS WITH NO LUCK. I'VE ALWAYS WATCHED PHILOSOPHY'S PROGRAMS ON QVC AND WONDERED WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO TRY A PRODUCT WITH A HUGE FOLLOWING... I'M SO GLAD I FINALLY BOUGHT PURITY! I BEGAN USING IT LAST DECEMBER AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE (THAT I CAN REMEMBER) I FEEL LIKE MAKEUP IS TRULY OPTIONAL FOR ME. THIS CLEANSER WASHES AWAY ALL THE DIRT AND MAKEUP THAT ENDS UP ON MY SKIN, WITHOUT DRYING MY FACE OUT OR CAUSING MY ACNE TO FLARE UP. THE SCENT IS LIGHT AND REFRESHING, YET UNIQUE. THE CONSISTENCY IS SOMETHING THAT I'VE NEVER EXPERIENCE BEFORE-- NOT CREAMY, NOT THICK, BUT NOT RUNNY EITHER. IT WASHES COMPLETELY OFF WITHOUT LEAVING THAT 'TIGHT' FEELING AFTERWARD. I'VE SINCE ADDED 'ON A CLEAR DAY' ALL OVER FACE TREATMENT AND USE 'HOPE IN A JAR' OCCASIONALLY., ALL USED TOGETHER HAS CLEARED UP MY SKIN AND ACTUALLY MAKES ME FEEL PRETTY. "i hate to dock a seemingly great product, but this actually irritated my skin. only me, of course. i received purity made simple for signing up for philosophy emails. i loved the fresh, natural smell and how freaking soft it left my skin, but after two uses the texture of my skin had turned into little tiny bumps. so, all in all, not meant for me, but i would definitely still recommend this product to a friend (with slightly less tempermental skin)."

"I turned the awful 49 years old in July, and as some know; unfortunately changes occur in a unpleasant way. Wrinkles, sun damage,suddenly you realize even if we feel young we are not. The closet I have came to statring to feel younger again is by useing this product. Any Philosophy product is the most dependable,nutureing, great smelling,just AMAZEING! You can't go wrong. "This product is fabulous! my friend (who swears by the stuff) gave me a 4oz sample, and in just the past month my skin has taken such a turn for the better. other cleansers dried me out or left me greasy, but this one has given me balanced, radiant skin. I use less makeup (hooray!) and have received lots of comments on my new "glow." I've recommended to others, and depending on skin type they've had mixed results, so try it out, and hopefully you'll love it as much as I do!"

"unlike the acne, on a clear day, this did not irritate my sensitive skin. nor did it leave my skin dry. unfortunately, i have stopped using this product b/c i wanted my face to feel clean and refreshed. this product did not do that for me."

"I have really sensitive skin and have tried every facial cleanser on the market and this is the ONLyyyyy one that i will ever use again!!! it leaves my skin so soft and smooth and not greasy or oily at all. I was a little put off by the price, but it is 100% worth it. Very gentle and smells delicious!!"

"I was always an OLay woman, used it for at least 15 yrs. My cousin gave me a sample of purity in the spring and I loved it. I bought a bottle shortly after that. It does a better job than olay, melts the makeup right off. Before i used to take my eye make up off with baby oil before washing my face, but now i don't have too, it just comes right off with purity. i will be buying this product for many years!"

The perfect Cleanser

"I am just finishing my last bottle, with a new one waiting to be used on my shelf. This is amazing! What more can I say! Makeup glides right off! It is super gentle for removing mascara. I actually purchased A SEPARATE eye makeup remover before a while back, but after using this, I haven't touched that eye makeup remover in months. I just love this. it is the perfect cleanser for night time and daytime if you prefer. I am dealing with very mild acne (thanks to philosophy - because the acne used to be worse!) so i use a 2% salicylic acid cleanser in the mornings. after switching to philosophy, my skin just keeps getting better and better.
What I love about this more is that you don't need a toner after it. It is built to cleanse that well, and that is exactly what it does.Actually, I used to use my 2% salicylic acid wash right after this at night. This weekend, I experimented with keeping things simple - sticking to just this at night and following with my Help me and HIab (and eye hope of course!) and things have been looking even better. It was than that i realized this was such an exceptional cleanser. it does such an amazing job, you won't need anything else to feel clean. Overall, I would highly recommend this! It is gentle yet very effective and never ever dries out skin. I have yet to try the foaming version, but for now, I am in ah of this! And combo skins or oily skins should not be afraid of the creaminess of this cleanser. it will never make skin worse, but of course there is always the foaming version for an alternative."

"I have been using purity for almost three years and absolutely love it! I am guilty of regularly switching my products when I get tired of them, but i have stuck with purity for so long because it works! I love the smell and texture. my skin always feels clean and hydrate after i use it and it does an amazing job of getting rid of waterproof mascara. overall, this is the best cleanser ever!"

"I have tried all the other department store brand skincare and thought I should opt for a more natural Ingredients on my skin care so I bought Caudalie weekender set at sephora to try and got a purity cleanser sample, i have never used philosophy products before but the first time i tried the sample I fell in love with it!I went to this website, signed up for newsletter and I got a free 4oz cleanser( YEY!) it's creamy milky texture is so great, love how it dissolves make-up and it clears up my oily skin, it also helps calm the redness on my cheeks, I love this and the HIAJ moisturizer plus the exfoliating wash, i have very oily tzone and very dry cheeks but these 3 keeps my skin baby soft and smooth that i don't even have to wear make up anymore just to go out and do my errands.I have been using this for a week now and my skintone is almost even, no dry patches,my tzone is less oily and my pores aren't as large as it used to be. I am a philosophy girl and believer now. Can't wait to try their other products. thanks philosophy!"

"i've never been able to find a face wash that removed my makeup and left my skin clean without drying it out. purity is the only product i've tried that keeps my skin in great condition. i've got normal skin with very little acne, but since i've started using purity my skin has improved and looks luminous. i do have to use a makeup remover on my eye makeup first, but only because i use waterproof eye products. overall, a wonderful classic product that i'd recommend to anyone."

"This is the hands-down best facial cleanser that exists and can even multi-task for you. it is gentle, takes off every bit of make-up, and leaves skin soft without any unpleasant smell. sometimes use this to shave underarms and legs and also as a light hair treatment before shampooing (i keep one in the shower) or a light face mask - just leave on a few minutes. Works nicely with my electronic facial brush as well."
