retinol rocks!

"i was apprehensive to give this is a shot. for starters, i didn't want to add anything to my beauty regimen. however, the fine lines and wrinkles were starting to become more pronounced around my eyes. i began using this regularly around December 2008 and can tell a difference. i alternate this every other night with the when hope is not enough capsules. the lines are softer and my skin feels fantastic. the retinol has also helped with minor breakouts on my chin. this is a very light-weight cream and a little goes a along way. it is worth the investment in my opinion."

"I can not wait to wake up in the morning and see the difference in my skin. I have problematic skin with deep, painful, under the skin acne on my chin. these pimples have created a lot of red and purple scars. not only is this product dramatically reducing the appearance of my scars, i haven't had a deep cystic pimple since i started using it. this product works wonders, much, much better than the topical treatments prescribed by my doctor. i am in love with this product and i am just sad that i didn't find it sooner. thank you Philosophy!"

"I agree with the other reviewer who wrote that you need to give this product time. i would say after about two weeks i started noticing significant improvements in my overall skin texture and appearance. it can be scary for those of us with acne and large pores to start using a new product because so many on the market just end up making things worse, but for me this switch was definitely worth it. i used to use proactiv, which worked for keeping acne at bay, but left my skin looking dry and irritated. now my skin looks so much better - i would even say glowing at times - and it saves me time and ultimately money, because i'm using fewer products and they last so much longer. this product in particular is a bit pricey, but typically a tube lasts me about 2 months."

Good but not awesome...

"I've been using this product for 3 weeks and it does a good job but not an awesome job. I do have to admit that my pores are hugely congested and I have noticed a difference but am still going to need to buy "oxygen peel" to give my skin (especially my nose) a boost. "help me" is very gently and only tingles when i wash my face with the exfoliator. i have noticed the deep in-grown pimples and blackheads on my chin are almost gone. all in all i won't stop using this product."

"i HAVE COMBINATION/sensitive SKIN. i USE THIS every night under the HOPE IS NOT ENOUGH REPLINISHING CREAM. tHIS HAS MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MY CLOGGED PORES AND HELPS PREVENT ACNE BREAKOUTS. it does the job without overdrying or irritating my skin. i would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get a head start on their age-proofing their skin."

"i WAS ON A PERSCRIPTION RETINOL TREATMENT AND IT WAS WORKING. tHE ONLY PROBLEM WAS MY SKIN WAS RED AND VERY DRY. HELP ME IS GENTLE ENOUGH FOR ME TO USE NIGHTLY. i HAVE NO REDNESS OR DRYING WITH THIS, BUT i AM STILL SEEING THE SAME IMPROVEMENTS i WAS WITH MY PERSCRIPTION RETINOL TREATMENT."

"I cannot believe what this product has done for my skin! I used this by itself after washing my face and the very next morning my pores had shrunk and my skin was not nearly as rough. this is a product i know i will use forever! i can't wait to see what it does for oil control in the summer. if you are considering trying this, quit considering and just do it!"

"I purchased two retinol treatments after reading the postive reviews from other folks. unfortunately i have not had the same experience. I would much prefer the booster serum and booster cap at night. perhaps retinol treatment is not for everyone."
