i was disapppointed ...

"Although I think philosophy does an exceptional job with their spicy or fruit-scents, I am sorry to say that I have been disappointed in their ability to manufacture a good vanilla shower gel. I've now tried 3 versions of their vanilla-scented shower gels and i won't be trying a 4th. They all smell rather artificial and/or plastic-like to me. i am disappointed because i like vanilla-scented products."

"this a light creamy vanilla scent. it smells like vanilla cake without the frosting or filling. it's not too sweet smelling or overpowering, which i like. great everyday scent!! My husband likes this too!"

"this smells just like a fresh baked birthday cake.I like to mix this with a touch of the different frosting 3 in 1's. its so creamy and smooth and makes my skin feel wonderful."

"I got this as a gift a while back and have just about used it all up. this just smells so good in the shower and it smells just like the name. I will definitely be ordering another bottle for myself . plus i just love the rich lather you get with philosophy 3in1 gels."

scent? what scent?

"this is a particularly frustrating "flavor" from philosophy. if you sniff the bottle really hard, you'll detect the fragrance, and it's very nice. but that's the problem...you have to try very hard to get a whiff of this gel. this gel is so under-fragranced, you won't be able to smell much of anything once you've lathered it up. if philosophy would really amp up the level of fragrance, i think that this one would be another winner. but as things smell, or don't, in this case, this product should be bypassed. $16 for what seems like an unscented gel is not worth it."

"If this doesn’t take you back to the wonderful times of childhood birthday parties, I don’t know what will. The sweet smell of birthday cake and the moisturizing feeling of great shower gel and body wash… what more could we ask for ladies? With all the scents/flavors of shower gels available today this one is still my favorite. Everyone deserves to have a great childhood memory, and why not get to experience it every time you shower?"
