"Awesome secent - so true to that rich coffee scent with a touch of sweetness from the milk (au lait)! dead on scent. great waker-upper (especially since I can't have caffeine anymore due to migraines) in the shower. satisfies my caffeine craving! :-)
Also, this is a little crazy-sounding, but mixing (or "cocktailing" if you prefer) cafe au lait with not the pits Cherry cola on your shower poof provides an *amazing* experience for the senses!
It's kinda like coke blak (if you've tried it) but much better - just a dash of cherry among that slightly sweet dark coffee...mmmmmmm!!!
especially great if you chill the not the pits cherry cola in the fridge for a while beforehand - you get a bit of effervescence just like a freshly popped can of soda! don't know how they manage that, but it's *divine*!
please give it a try - even if you're skeptical it can't hurt, right???! ;-)"

"Like all of the Philosophy shower gels, I love how cafe au lait makes my skin feel: clean, yet moisturized. The problem is that, unlike the other shower gels, the fragrance is off. It smells more like coffee candy than an actual cafe au lait."

nice, but a bit on the sweet side

"having bought so many of the other "flavors", I was very interested in this coffee scent from philosophy. although I'm not disappointed with it in the least, it didn't exactly match what i was expecting. this is not a rich, in your face, coffee fragrance. it's more along the lines of french vanilla cafe powdered coffee mix. not a bad thing, but not quite the bold coffee scent I was looking for. Still, it is a pleasant fragrance, but if you are after a strong coffee scent, look elsewhere."

"I love this shampoo! i bought it a long time ago in a gift set, and it just finally came back! it doesn't smell a whole lot like coffee, however it smells like caramel to me, which i love."
