Awesome.....!

"Being over 60, skin dryness is a real issue. In two days my skin has been rejuvenated and is soft, and it is moist again. When I first used it, I did the warm up between the fingertips as directed, applied it, and it went to work to help slough off the dead flaky skin. It left me with soft, smooth skin like a baby's skin. Have been a philosphy girl for years and now have discovered how to be a philosophy woman. I am thrilled to have found this wonderful moisturizing cream."

big disappointment

"i was really excited to try this cream b/c of the great ingredients and benefits. this cream was too harsh for my sensitive skin. when i 1st tried it, my skin felt like it was burning and i had to immediately wash it off. i tried it again several time with no luck. it just didn't work for me."

"This winter my skin was so dry I was miserable. a friend of mine recommended philosophy and I purchased a "try me" kit from an online shopping network. i am so glad i tried it because i will never go without it again. I now only shop at philosphy.com for my skin care products and tell all my friends about them! This is a must have!"

very skin nourishing

"I received a sample of this at my nearest sephora store because I was not sure to spend the money on it because other brands promised the same and did not deliver. Well, i was definitely wrong with hope is not enough! this is extremely skin nourishing as it took away the flaky ad dry skin clinique skin care line caused to my skin. my skin's moister was restored after 2 ngihts of this! really, it is just a very nice and creamy moisturizer that immediately makes skin feel smooth and moist. i would recommend it to those who have very dry skin, those who need and extra moister boost and especially those (like me) that use medicated treatments that can dry skin. I'm really starting to get a feel for the philosophy line... ;)"

my saving grace for skin care

"love, love, love this stuff. it is so hydrating with out being greasey. it absorbs quickily. its comforting and soothing. i will even use it as a day cream in the winter. i hope im never without it."

not for my face

"even though i have dry skin, this moisturizer is not my favorite. i used it only at night, but i think it is a little too emollient for me. in the morning i have tiny white bumps all along my jaws, chin, and lower cheeks. i may be allergic to something in this formula. Too bad for me. i tried it for a good while to be sure. funny though, it's great on my neck!"

intense moisturization

"I love this product. it is very heavy however and is intended for use at night. it takes only a small amount, warmed up between your fingers. My only complaint is that it takes awhile to absorb and then sometimes i have issues with it rolling off in little white pieces. i'm sure this is due to the parabens in the product. my skin loves the hydration. if i'm staying in for the day, i will sometimes use this morning and night because it delivers such intense moisturization. this is the only night cream i will use, i've tried a few other lines out there but none achieve the moisturization my skin needs like this product does."

my winter night cream

"i have sensitive, acne-prone skin and i feared that this product would be way too much for it! but i suffer from extreme dryness in the winter and i've found this to be one of the best night creams i've ever tried. it melts into my skin keeping it soft and hydrated but doesn't cause me to break out, which is a bit of a miracle! it is a bit heavy for me to use everyday in the summer months as i have a lot more natural oil production at that time, but it is fabulous for an after-sun treatment. i would imagine that someone with dry skin would have amazing results year long!"

A great addition to make-up optional

"I purchased this cream in addition to my makeup optional kit. I found it to be a wonderful addition to that skincare regimen. i use it at night and it makes my face sooo soft. I have sensitive skin and rosacea. This product does not irritate my skin or clog my pores like other night creams. i have since purchased another kit and another jar of this as well!"

miracle cream

"Since before I was 30, I have had extremely sun damaged, blotchy, dry skin. I gave up on determatologists and had given up hope that I could still have decent looking skin. I am amazed at what this cream has done for my skin. Within a few days, I noticed a remarkable difference in the texture & appearance of my skin. This is so gentle and lightweight that I can use it at night or during the day. I love this product and can't wait to try other philosophy products."

instant results

"I have combination, sensitive skin, and haven't found ANY moisturizer that doesn't make me break out. Also, I was stressing about turning 40 this past Monday, so I finally got "When hope is not enough" replenishing cream. Not only did I see instant results (my face was so soft - and no break outs!) - but only 5 days later - I was carded for a glass of wine! Coincidence? I think not! Thanks Philiosophy!"

not heavy for sensitive skin

"I have combination/sensitive skin that tends to be oily. I received this product with another order I placed. I absolutely love it. I thought that it would end up being too heavy, so I only used it at night after the retinol treatment. it moisturized my skin without making it oily. My skin is very soft when I wake up and there are no oily spots at all. it doesn't break out my skin at all."

"i have completely replaced my "hope in a jar" with this "when hope is not enough". it leaves your skin feeling like silk. it is the same results you get when you use booster caps. plus the smell is great. wow!"

I'll never sleep without it

"I have combination skin that tends to be oily. On a whim, I bought this product to try at night. I figured it would be too heavy, and I would stop using it soon after buying it.

to my surprise, it moisturized my skin without making it oily. Now, I love waking up to soft skin.

no matter how tired I am at night, I just cannot go to bed without washing my face with Purity made simple and following up with When hope is not enough."

"i LOVE THIS NIGHT CREAM AND i LOVE HOW IT SMELLS. iT HAS A CLEAN LIGHT SOOTHING AROMA ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE IT DOES FOR YOU SKIN. tHIS WILL NOT LEAVE YOU OILY. wORKS GREAT FOR COMBINATION SKIN, WHEN YOU JUST NEED A LITTLE EXTRA IN THE WINTER OR DURING DRY WEATHER. i USE IT EVERY NIGHT REGARDLESS!"

"I absolutely love this replenishing cream it is so moisturizing and is not greasy at all. I was a little apprehensive about using it because i don't like to wear anything on my face before going to bed, but it didn't bother me at all. it makes my skin look lovely and just what my face needs for an extra reboost after a long day."
