"I decided to treat myself for my birthday and I am so glad I did. I ordered the lip shine in vanilla birthday cake & mimosa. i thought the two were perfecting for celebrating my 30th birthday. as soon as i twisted off the cap, the vanilla birthday cake took me right back to my grandmother's kitchen. it smelled just like the yellow vanilla cakes she would make in her old bundt pans then drizzle with fresh lemon vanilla glaze. i can't believe that philosophy has captured that aroma so perfectly. it's warm, inviting, & soothing all at the same time. my lips are softer, smoother, & more moisturized after just 1 application. this gloss is a little on the the thick side which i prefer. i hate it when u apply lipgloss that feels like water & it wears off within minutes. thanks philosophy. i will be back for 2nds on the cake!"

"this was my first lip shine purchase and definitely won't be my last!! i think the vanilla scent translates better in the lip shine than in the 3 in 1. it smells delicious and is a great pick me up for your lips."

"I dont usually wear lip glosses, but I received this during philosophy's birthday. I must say I really like this lip shine. I love the smell, tastes good, not too shiney, and it really moisturizes my lips. I have always had really dry lips that chapsticks never worked. This does a great job. I look forward to trying other flavors"

"this scent is luscious and is a beautiful color. all of philosophy's lip shines are highly emollient and i wear them around the clock but i love that they last all night and give such great moisturization. this is a great and unique gift to give to someone special on their birthday!"

"love this flavored lip shine. i have to admit, i am not a huge fan of the birthday cake 3 in 1, i don't think it smells like cake, to me it smells weird. but i do love this lip shine. i think it smells just like birthday cake and it is very yummy. i carry these around in my pocket everyday for touchups. i have tons of flavors! the only thing is they don't last that long."

"I think this product is wonderful, like the other flavored lip shines i have used..., it's quite similar to the real thing, and I like the fact that they are sticky because they have more staying power, and I LOVE love love the golden sparkles!.... this is a really wonderful gloss to me!"

"I love the taste of this lip gloss. It leaves just a hint of color but makes your lips feel like silk. This has just a little sparkle ,not a lot but you can see it in the tube. plus my little dog sure loves to give me kisses when i have this on, guess he wants to have soft lips to."

"this is my sister's and my favorite of all the philosophy scents. i can't get enough of it. the other 'warm' scents are too sugary for me, but this is just perfect, truly delicious and makes you feel full too somehow. i pretty much change from a sour day to a sweet one with this lip gloss. it's possible!"
