great product, does what it says!

"this eye cream is perfect if you need extra moisturizing around your eyes, want to battle wrinkles, and/or have puffiness issues. i used it for a while and loved it, but didn't notice any difference with my dark circles. so i switched to eye hope, which i highly recommend if you want to attack dark circles. if you're not dealing with dark circles, however, hope in a tube is the best eye cream on the market! becuase its so thick, i usually apply it at least 10 minutes before i put my make up on to let it all sink in. that way i don't have any greasiness or smudging issues. i also don't have to wipe off any excess (like i have with other eye creams) because it all absorbs very nicely!"

What can I say but Awesome!

"I got this in the Litlle Black Bag starter kit and I love it! I only use it around my lips and I can feel the difference, plumps them a little and I won't have to worry about wrinkles! I'm 37 and I don't have wrinkles around my mouth, this seems like it will do the trick to prevent them in the future, I'm already looking for my replacement full size tube, I don't want to run out :)"

"I am a smoker, and had deep wrinkles in the corners of my lips, as well as all those little lines on my upper lip. I am about 3/4 of the way through my first "hope in a tube". Those lines and wrinkles are also about 3/4 gone ! I cannot believe the difference. I also use a tiny bit in the those lines from the nose to the lips, and honestly, it plumps them out and makes them much less noticable. I have tried several products, but NOTHING tops this. Thank you , philosophy!"

Good but not great

"I first got this product in the makeup uptional kit. I wasn't too concerned about wrinkles around my eyes, but i do have extremely sensitive skin in that area and it tends to become very dry and red during the winter. every other moisturizer i've tried has burned my sensitive eye skin, but not this one. all winter long my skin stayed moisturized and irritation free. i don't know how much it's doing for wrinkles though. i've never used it around my lips."

great eye cream

"i got this from the auto delivery kit with the purity, hope in a jar, lip gloss and microderm wash. i'm 29 and can't say i have wrinkles, but i love the way it feels when i put it on. its very hydrating, non irritating and great when you use a primer and the supernatural concealer set. i hope if i keep using this it will prevent wrinkles when i get older. for now im satisfied and this little tube last a long time. always forget to use it around my lips though."

"i absolutely love philosophy, but this product was a disaster for me. i put it on in the evening before going to bed making sure not to get any in my eyes, oh my; the next morning was terrible. my eyes were swollen, red, and i couldn't get them to stop watering. i had to get a cool cloth and try to get the product off. didn't like the way it went on. way to thick & tugged on my skin. might work on the lip area, but i didn't try that. eye hope is the product that i wouldn't be without."

"i AM SUCH A PHILOSOPHY GIRL! tHIS IS ONE OF THE RARE PRODUCTS THAT ISN'T AWESOME FOR ME. a LITTLE TOO HEAVY TO WEAR IN THE MORNING AS ANY MAKE-UP LOOKS SLOPPY IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES... EVEN IF i WAIT FOR IT TO DRY AWHILE. BUT IT ALSO STINGS MY EYES. i USED IT FOR MONTHS HOPING TO SEE A DIFFERENCE. i JUST DIDN'T HAPPEN."

A little harsh

"I have a sensitive eye area and this was a little harsh. i have heard from friends that it works well but I could not use it long enough because it stung. I would suggest you get a sample of it with another purchase to try it out before you buy it. The new eye hope is a lot gentler if you are sensitive like me."

"i'm a former smoker... i use this around my lips and over time, my 'smokers lines' have become less noticable.. i use this as an 'eye mask' at night. i love the results!"

"This eye cream is just luxurious. It packs moisture into the eye area thus making it difficult for lines to appear. It is the best eye cream I have ever used. I use this in conjunction with eye believe and I cant wait to try to the new eye cream by philosophy."

"this is the one and only philosophy product that does not work for me at all! i have oily eyelids and find it too heavy, it doesn't "soak in" at all for me. however, my best friend has very dry skin and has been through chemotherapy, and she is in love with this product- it has helped tremendously with her fine lines. i think that mature or dry skin types will have great results, so i would recommend it to a friend. i would not repurchase or recommend it to anyone with oily eyelids. i did use up my tube as a lip balm though!"

very moisturizing

"This is a great eye cream and very moisturizing. i use it under the eye as well as my crows feet. my skin has a sensitivity to it if i use it on my upper lip, so i do not apply it there. my only complaint is that it is thick and stays sticky/tacky for a while after applying. i rarely use this cream in the mornings because i don't have to wait on it to absorb. it is far too tacky to try and apply make up over it in my opinion. i am thankful for the new eye hope as it absorbs much faster so i use it in the a.m. and the hope in a tube at night. my skin around the eyes is incredibly soft from years of using this product."

"The only reason i gave this product a 4 is because it's super thick. It takes a long time to absorb but i pat powder ontop and it looks good. i don't have deep wrinkles, i mainly bought this product to prevent wrinkles around the eyes but i have noticed that the eye area looks brighter and healthy and it's the only product i use for the skin around my eyes so i'm not going to stop using it. I do recommend it!"

"this product does wonders for my under eye area. the only thing i would change, and i know it sounds weird, is to make it a little less thick and easier to pat in. but, i know that the skin around the eye is much different, so i guess it needs to be that way to work properly."

"as i stated in another review, after i had my third son I was using another skincare brand that stopped working for me. under the eyes were appearing to look like dry crepe paper around the lash line and was one of the reasons i had switched to philosophy. this product smooths out the entire under eye area and keeps it moisturized all day long even with the concealer (another favorite of mine) applied over. I apply both on the top lids as well, and has worked perfectly for me for nearly 8 years now. when i first started to use it, noticed a lavender scent which my eyes were sensitive to, and sometimes still is for just a few seconds, but the benefits outweight that greatly. don't know what i'd do without this product ?!?"

"i don't really have wrinkles yet but i have little lines under my eyes (where the bags are located!) and the lines that go from the corner of your mouth up to the corner or your nose. i use this product at night only and within three days these lines were all gone! i'm so impressed! it also didn't break my skin out which can be a problem for me and my oily skin. thanks philosophy! (i even got carded the other day! woo hoo!)"

will not go without it!

"i have tried every eye cream there is before using hope in a tube over a year ago. my eyes look firm and refreshed. crows feet are filled in and almost gone. i suffer from serious dark shadows on my lids and undereye and my pigmentation has improved greatly. use this with "eye believe" and you will be amazed at how great your eyes and upper lip look."
