Nice scrubby wash

"this one has nice scrubbing beads, they're finer in texture compared to regular scrub, but i can still feel it. i use it twice a week, and this is perfect to gently slough off dead skin cells. this is nicely scented with ag and smells a tad stronger than the 3-in-1. However, i prefer the regular scrub because i don't feel a huge difference after using buffing wash, and usually my skin is super smooth after using a regular scrub.

luckily i don't have a bad experience with the product turning (referring to reviewers who stated their buffing wash "turned" and smells different). i bought this in nov'08, didn't open it until june'09, and it is still open now and smelling good."

"i love the ag buffing wash! my daughter and i have those annoying bumps on our upper arms and this product has helped us out a great deal. our arms are visibly smoother- which is something that no other product has done for us. and with the scent of ag, you cannot go wrong."

rougher than I expected

"I was thinking it would be similar in texture to the microdelivery with amazing grace fragrance, but it is really much coarser and grittier than I thought it would be. It just doesn't feel good on the skin, and has signficantly less foaming power than their other shower gels (hence a lot of other people say they follow it up with the regular shower gel). I think I'd go with mixing in some microdelivery or a salt scrub for my exfoliating needs rather than the buffing wash. the fragrance is also just not as rich as the amazing grace shower gel."

Amazing

"I love this buffing wash.

Rather than use it in the shower, I rub it in before I get in the shower. Then I rinse it off and follow it with one of Philosophy's 3-in1s.

My skin has never been softer."

Great Product

"I love this scrub, it smells so good in the shower and helps exfoliate my skin, especially my legs, since they are so dry. I use this first then grab one of the other body washes to use after. Thanks for a great product!"

great when first opened

"the buffing wash is great when it is first opened, but about halfway through, it turns and smells awful. i don't even want to open the bottle to dop the remaining wash down the sink.

i hope that they rework this formula because i love the buffing wash when it is first opened. maybe the bottles just have to be smaller?? I'm not sure what the sollution needs to be."

"this feels a bit like the microdelivery exfoliating wash, but for the body! i use it on my upper arms and legs for gentle exfoliation- it is great for sensitive skin, not at all harsh or scratchy."

"i was a little hesitant to try this buffing wash because i have really sensitive skin. but i was able to use this product, without being itching like crazy. I was quite surprised that this product really made me skin soft."

Turned bad in a month and a half...

"I got this scrub in my favorite scent from philosophy as a christmas gift, and loved it at first...I have very sensitive skin and it was too much for daily use for me so I started using it once a week and using my regular 3 in 1 on the other days...after about a month and a half, it turned a funny white/yellow color instead of it's original pink color and started to smell rancid...maybe it's the fruit oils or something. I am very sad, as I now have 14 ounces of rancid, stinky buffing wash when I could have had my 3 in one. won't be buying or recommending this stuff! At the price, it stinks to have it go bad on you after only a month and a half of use..."

Amazing Bliss!

"I love this buffing wash. The scent is a bit softer than the regular shower gel which i really like alot, maybe even more than the regular gel. This really cleanses and makes your skin so soft and smooth. this is A real winner for sure!"

"this is a nice light exfoliating wash with a softer scent of amazing grace. i feel this is gentle enough to use everyday, but if you want something to get a deeper exfoliation, then you might consider the ag salt scrub."

"ag is my signature fragrance. i've used the 3 in 1 for years...i absolutely love the buffing wash. you can use it with or without a loofah (i tried) and you get the same results. i love the feel of my exfoliated skin afterwards. you get the same effect as with the microdelivery wash but with fragrance. keep them coming philosophy!"

"I really like this buffing wash, it was to harsh for my skin for some strange reason, but i gave it to my teenage daughter that is in college and she loves it. i loved the smell and my skin felt good, but i started to break out. but i think that everyone should try it because my have very very sensitive skin."

very fragrant and moisturizing

"love to layer this fragrance and find the buffing wash a lovely way to do that. the little beads are soft and not harsh and the buffing wash leaves your skin very soft and clean. Wasn't really sure I would like this because of the beads but I fell in love with it. just another great amazing grace product."

slightly softer scent, but still wonderful

"the buffing washes are my favorite formula. i love them. to me, all of the buffing washes are a slightly softer, lighter version of their original fragrance, but still retain the original scent. amazing grace buffing wash does smell like amazing grace, but softer, as mentioned above. the best part of the buffing wash is how incredibly smooth and soft it leaves your skin. just like baby skin. i'm patiently waiting for pure grace buffing wash to be released for individual sale. i have it from part of a set that qvc offered, but would love to buy it on its own. amazing grace buffing wash is just as great, but pure grace is my favorite."

"I absolutely love the amazing grace buffing wash, my skin gets very dry in the winter so it helps remove my dry rough skin. A lot of buffers/scrubs that i get will burn my skin, but this does not this is wonderful i love the 3-1's, but this much better for when my skin is really dry. i don't use it everyday though just when my skin is really dry. of course it has the wonderful scent of amazing grace as well."
