"the scent of this is absolutely amazing. i love gingerbread, pumpkin bread, and anything that smells like all spice. this is all those yummy scents in one. it's my favorite lip gloss for winter because it's very moisturizing and such a great scent/flavor. and yes, it does have a nice flavor if you lick your lips (or if someone kisses you), but generally speaking I would avoid eating it.
the only downside of this product is that i think it's a little expensive so i buy it when philosophy.com is having a sale or special.
i've read some reviews saying that this is sticky. i don't find it to be goopy or sticky, but it is definitely a gloss so if you're expecting the texture of chapstick, then you will find this very different. in order to stay on your lips and offer nice shine, it does have to be a bit sticky, but it doesn't get everywhere or make a mess. i put it on without even using a mirror and it looks great.
this particular flavor has a slight brown tint that leaves your lips looking very natural - basically nude."
