"this shower gel is amazing. it is so creamy and the light, sweet scent it leaves on my skin is wonderful. I want to smell my arm all day long. my husband and son use it and love it just as much."

Not really a gingerbread smell

"my first sniff was definately a shock...no spice, no ginger scent, but a sweet almost floral smell. I smelled it a few more times, but still detected the floral scent. it's not a bad smell - just not gingerbread (at least not any gingerbread that i've smelled over the years). i've really grown to like it & use it almost exclusively (in spite of the 10 other shower gels in my bathroom). i don't think the name matches the actual scent, but the smell really is nice - just not what you would think. i have ordered another bottle, as i did not think it would be available after the holidays - that's how much i am liking this. give it a try - you may like it as well, just forget the "gingerbread" idea & what it might mean to you."

gingerbread?

"Since when does gingerbread smell like ginger ale? I really wish I could understand why philosophy usually nails any scent and then they bomb on a few here and there so terribly as with this one. most of the scents are out of this world good, so how do these occasional stink-bombs get the green light? this smells like the "gingerbread man", another product that I think is horribly misleading by its name alone...except for the part where this product has very strange floral notes to it that give it that extra little "yuck". these shower gels are not cheap and it is extremely frustrating to purchase them online (no stores near me carry the line), remove the seal to smell the product, and then realize it is not at all what you expected. Aside from the scents, these products are nothing special and seem to use the same cheap ingredients found in store brands. This particular "flavor" has nothing going for it since it doesn't even smell good...blech. and let's face it, without a good fragrance, the price is just too steep to warrant."
