"i was unsure if i would like this because i feared it would have that heavy "baked" note in the scent. so.... i got it but put it in the stash for a few weeks. a dear friend asked me about it so i finally opened it and i am so glad she urged me to do so. it truly smells like a fresh scone. the almond is soft and subtle and almost comforting and the orange is prominent but not overpowering. it is super yummy and would be so charming to gift and perhaps actually make the scones to go with it. or perhaps gift some great coffee or breakfast teas. it is one that i would most certainly purchase again."

warm scent

"This is a warm scent. When you use it, you will 1st smell a orange aroma and then the 2nd smell to kick in is a almond scent. not overpowering. just a very nice aroma. reminds me of an Italian almond cookie. will buy again for myself and as gifts."

not as almond as wanted

"I absolutely love the smell of almond extract and oranges, so I hoped this would bring those two favorites together. because it is exclusively sold on the philosophy store site, not in other outlets, i had no chance to smell it before committing. however, this 'recipe' was a bit disappointing as the smells of almond and orange are both very mild and the dominant scent is that of 'scone' (a baked flour smell). It doesn't smell badly, but it is nowhere near as close a recipe as some of their baked goods and a missed opporunity for a luscious almond. Suggestion for a next try - almond spritz cookies!"

"when i noticed that philosophy made an orange almond scone shower gel, i thought it was a bit odd, but I gave it a shot. Now it's one of my favorite shower gels. it smells great."

"I bought this as part of a three-piece set and thought I would give this one away because I'm not into the fruit scents. not a chance. this is beautiful - you get just a hint of the almond. i had a couple of friends over this weekend and they love it too. I put it on my kitchen sink and use it all the time. i would love this in the body emulsion too"

"I got this as part of a three piece set on qvc. this is my favorite out of the three. it is sweet and creamy with a bright citrus scent. it makes me think if orange creamsicles. It really wakes me uo in my morning shower."

Warm orange bakery scent

"this is a nice comforting scent. it reminds me of the orange chiffon cake that was out briefly a year or so ago, which I liked. it is not as sweet as the mimosa which i don't personally care for. my favorite orange was the orange-cranberry, but this one is nice, too, just milder, not spicy at all, and i barely detect the almond, just a touch."

"I tried this in the shower tonight and i really didn't care for the scent. I have tried another orange scented 3-in-1 and really didn't like it either. So guess the orange scented ones aren't for me. But if your into that scent you will probably love this one, it does make tons of bubbles like it says."

"mmmmmmm.
I wasn't sure i'd like this because i'm not big on almonds, but i don't mind the almond because the scent is beautiful. . ithe orange is very rich it's unique and lovely.
I use the 3-in-1s as hand soap because they make my hands so soft and because i've noticed the lovely scents last a little while when you wash your hands with them.
so i'm using this one on as hand soap and can't wait till you get more so i can buy some for tthe shower/tub."

"purchased this because i love all the orange scents from philosophy. but this one is amazing! every time i use it i read the recipe on the bottle and say i have to make this recipe, because the scent is so good! great foam and highly recommend for a holiday gift."

more than a foodie scent

"i bought this in a trio a few weeks ago thinking this would be the least of my favorites in the set. wrong! orange almond scone is my new favorite. far more than just a foodie scent, this could so easily translate to a body lotion, spritz and fine fragrance. this is a really lovely 3 in 1 that is perfect for all times and all seasons."
